How to Make Your Own Wrapping Paper Using DIY Stamps

My early 2000s crush was rekindled during the Super Bowl halftime show 😍. All those songs took me waaay back. Now I’m going to bust out my discman (you bet I have one) and listen to Usher’s My Way cd. Man, I used to think he was soo dreamy.

Prior to the halftime show, the game was background noise while I made fun wrapping paper using cardboard stamps to wrap some Valentine’s Day prezzies. We usually don’t do much for V-day but this year we got the girls a small stuffed animal of their favorite animal.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR MAKING YOUR OWN WRAPPING PAPER:

-packaging paper

-scissors

-plastic caps

-cardboard

-tempera paint

-paint brush

-hot glue gun

-sharpie

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN WRAPPING PAPER:

1. Draw your design on cardboard. Cut it out.

2. Hot glue your design onto a plastic cap.

3. Brush paint onto your new stamp.

4. Place it face down on the packaging paper.

5. Pull it straight up to not smudge the design.

6. Repeat all over the paper.

7. Once it dries you can wrap your gifts!
