My little darling wanted some horse toys and I told her she had to earn some mula because I wasn’t going to buy them as we already had a couple of them that she has yet to play with. She came up with making bracelets to earn some cash.

My girls wanted to dress up as different versions of Elsa for Halloween. My oldest wanted to be “blue cape Elsa”, the Elsa from the first Frozen movie when she becomes the Ice Queen. I followed the pattern from another cape we have that was made by a family friend.

My early 2000s crush was rekindled during the Super Bowl halftime show 😍. All those songs took me waaay back. Now I’m going to bust out my discman (you bet I have one) and listen to Usher’s My Way cd. Man, I used to think he was soo dreamy.

For a long time I’ve drooled over the Maileg mice toys. I love how cute they are with their tiny outfits and itty bitty faces. I finally got the girls their own little sister mouse when I went to Denmark last summer.

Last week was so fun, the kids were crawling back for more. They kept asking me, “When is the next one, when is the next one?!” …next week ladies.

We have a little artist in the making. We go through reams of paper like nobody’s biz. She loves to draw, paint, and make her own toys with paper and tape. Why tape? She doesn’t like the stickiness of glue. Understandable.

I had these old lamination sheets my husband brought home a while ago. I wasn’t sure what I would “laminate” so they sat on the shelf for quite some time. My daughter wanted a Frozen theme birthday so we cut out a bunch of snowflakes to hang from the ceiling. Then it dawned on me that I should use the smaller snowflakes and make a placemat with the lamination paper! Genius.

Any last minute party planners out there? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Totes forgot I pinned these adorable pop tart pouches from Handmade Charlotte. They had to be made this year. And I happened to be going to Walmart to pick up a prescription too. How does that relate?

Last year, my daughter had a Valentine’s Day party with her science enrichment class. It was a small class of eight students so I didn’t think it would be too terrible if we made an art project out of it. Making eight Valentine’s Day gift bags with a three and five year old may have been pushing it a little bit, but they loved it.

My girls look forward to Valentine’s Day every year. They think it’s so ‘fuscious’! Which is Emme’s made up word for fancy. One day she said, “I love it! It’s so fuscious!”
