Valentine’s Day Placemat
I had these old lamination sheets my husband brought home a while ago. I wasn’t sure what I would “laminate” so they sat on the shelf for quite some time. My daughter wanted a Frozen theme birthday so we cut out a bunch of snowflakes to hang from the ceiling. Then it dawned on me that I should use the smaller snowflakes and make a placemat with the lamination paper! Genius.

Last year, my daughter had a Valentine’s Day party with her science enrichment class. It was a small class of eight students so I didn’t think it would be too terrible if we made an art project out of it. Making eight Valentine’s Day gift bags with a three and five year old may have been pushing it a little bit, but they loved it.
